The App is used exclusively by authorized government personnel and registered transporters for managing, tracking, and monitoring the lifting and transportation of food commodities from one location to another.

The App is accessible only to authorized personnel registered under Jan Johar. The following user roles exist within the application:
- Lifting Incharge – Oversees and authorizes the lifting of commodities at source locations.
- Driver – Responsible for transporting commodities; tracked during transit.
- AGM (Assistant General Manager) – Monitors operations, reviews reports, and manages approvals.
- Transporter – Registered transport agency/individual managing vehicle assignments and deliveries.
Each user role has defined access levels and permissions within the App. Users may only access data and features relevant to their designated role.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information from registered users of the App:

4. Purpose of Data Collection
All data collected by the App is used exclusively for the following official government purposes:
- Commodity Tracking: To monitor the real-time movement of food commodities from warehouses/procurement centers to distribution points.
- Lifting Management: To record, authorize, and verify the lifting of commodities by authorized personnel.
- Driver & Vehicle Monitoring: To track vehicles during transit and ensure timely, accurate delivery of government commodities.
- Verification & Accountability: To capture photographic evidence at key stages (loading, unloading, delivery) for audit and record-keeping purposes.
- Operational Reporting: To generate reports for AGMs and government administrators for monitoring and decision-making.
- Security & Authentication: To verify the identity of users accessing the App and ensure only authorized personnel perform actions.
5. Device Permissions Required
The App requests the following device permissions, each used solely for its stated operational purpose:

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
Jan Johar is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with any private third-party companies or organizations.
Data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- Within Jan Johar & State Government Departments: Data is accessible to authorized Jan Johar officials, AGMs, and relevant state government departments for monitoring, auditing, and regulatory compliance purposes.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation, we may disclose information to appropriate legal or government authorities.
- Audit & Accountability: Transaction and activity logs may be reviewed by authorized auditors as part of government accountability processes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the operational and legal purposes described in this policy.
- User Account Data – Retained for the duration of the user's active employment/registration with Jan Johar, plus an additional period as required by government record-keeping regulations.
- Commodity Transaction Records – Retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with government audit and accountability regulations.
- Location Logs – Retained for up to 2 years for audit and dispute resolution purposes.
- Photographs & Documents – Retained for as long as the associated transaction or commodity record is active.
Upon deactivation of a user account, personal information not required for legal or audit purposes will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe.

- Session Management: User sessions are automatically terminated after a period of inactivity.
While we implement robust security measures, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. Users are advised to keep their login credentials confidential and report any unauthorized access immediately to Jan Johar.

As a registered user of the Jan Johar App, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You may request a summary of personal data held about you by contacting Jan Johar.
- Right to Correction: If your personal information is inaccurate or outdated, you may request corrections through your supervising officer or the Jan Johar IT department.

The Jan Johar App is intended solely for use by authorized adult government employees and registered transporters. The App is not designed for, nor does it knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of 18.
Access to the App is granted only through official Jan Johar registration processes, which inherently restrict access to authorized adult personnel.
